Pastor Joe Domico
Pastor Joe has been the pastor of Gateway Christian Church in Woodbury, NJ since its inception in 1993. Pastor Joe has been teaching the Bible chapter-by-chapter, verse-by-verse in Southern New Jersey/Philadelphia region since then. Prior to this ministry here, Joe served at a Church in Texas while attending undergraduate Bible college. Upon returning to South Jersey, Joe and his wife Anne helped establish Calvary Chapel of South Jersey in Clarksboro (now in Bellmawr). Through the grace of God, Joe was asked to help with a church plant in Gloucester County, NJ by South Jersey Evangelism director Bob Ponchot.
Joe became a Christian in 1983 while working as a casino supervisor in Atlantic City. After giving his life to the Lord Jesus Christ, he got involved with ministry right away. He read through the Bible in a couple of months, then continued to read through again and again. A native of Westville, New Jersey, Joe did not start going to college until his mid-twenties. With his newlywed wife and partner, Anne he relocated to West Texas. The Lord, Joe, and Anne to Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX (150 miles west of Fort Worth) where they met many life-long friends who they network with. Joe majored in Bible, with an emphasis on Greek. His desire was to be able to comprehend and then teach the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Through His grace, God began to use Joe and Anne. They desired to return to New Jersey and be involved in ministry and in church planting. Joe and Anne are currently living in Gloucester County with their five children: Josiah (20), Sarah (18), Katherine (15), Alethea (11) and Aubrey (8). The Domicos began to implant the vision that the Lord gave them in Gateway Christian Church. Today Joe continues his involvement in ministry with Gateway. He is host of the radio ministry called In Your Faith that reaches many to listeners vai the HOPE-FM Radio Network. Joe has a wonderful and practical insight into God's Word and a great ability to communicate God's message. His life verse is Galatians 2:20.
Pastor Fred Gogel
 |
Fred was saved during the summer of 2004 while attending school in New Brunswick New Jersey. The Lord began to work in his heart when he was told of God's Holy Law (Exodus 20). Recognizing that he had broken each of God's Ten Commandments Fred admitted that he was in great debt to God (John3:36). This led to the realization that Jesus Christ fulfilled the law where Fred was not able (Matthew 5:17). Owing nothing to God because He was God (Colossians 2:9) Jesus Christ paid the debt Fred owed to God for breaking His commandments (1 Peter 2:24). Since the Lord Jesus has made him free of that debt, which is the wrath of God, Fred has shown his gratitude by serving in whatever capacity he has been able. He has been serving at Gateway for over two years and recently the Lord has placed him in the position of Assistant and Pastor over the Youth. He has had extensive training in the ministry, which includes Evangelism Explosion, G3 (Gideon's 300) evangelism, theological and apologetic training through CARM (Christian Apologetics Research Ministry), and graduate level courses at Liberty Theological Seminary.
